What it does
- A continuously updated feed of recent earthquakes from around the world, sourced directly from USGS — so you're never relying on second-hand news.
- A live interactive globe (Globe tab in the app) shows significant earthquakes and active tsunami warnings in real time — refreshed every 15 seconds, no manual refresh needed.
- Filter by minimum magnitude (M4.5 through M7.0+) to tune out background noise and focus on events that matter most to you.
- Each entry shows the exact location, local time, UTC time, and depth — the details that matter for assessing whether a quake poses a tsunami risk.
- The Globe tab in app shows colour-coded magnitude markers that give you an instant read on severity, with concentric rings marking active tsunami watches or warnings, so you know exactly where the threat is.
